Terms of Service for Rock School NW

Effective Date: January 21, 2025

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Rock School NW's website, facilities, programs, or services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services
Rock School NW, located on the MODE Campus in Liberty Lake, WA, offers private music lessons, group classes, rock band programs, and performance opportunities. These Services are provided by professional instructors in a supportive, student-first environment. Additional terms may apply to specific services and programs, and you agree to follow any supplemental guidelines when applicable.

3. Eligibility
To enroll in Services, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Certain classes or programs may have additional age or skill-based requirements, which will be outlined at the time of enrollment.

4. Account Registration
Some services may require you to create an account or complete a registration process. You agree to provide accurate, up-to-date information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity associated with your account.

5. Payments & Refunds
Payment Terms: All lessons and programs must be prepaid. Monthly tuition is automatically charged on the 1st of each month through our secure third-party system.

Late Payments: Payments made after the 7th of the month will incur a $25 late fee. Memberships over 30 days past due are subject to cancellation.

Refunds & Withdrawals: We do not offer refunds for unused lessons or early withdrawals. A 30-day notice is required to cancel enrollment. Rock School NW reserves the right to terminate services at its discretion; in such cases, any unused tuition may be refunded.

6. Scheduling & Software
Rock School NW uses trusted third-party platforms such as Opus1 and SquarePOS for lesson management and billing. Use of these platforms is subject to their terms and privacy policies.

7. Code of Conduct
All students and parents agree to:

Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect

Follow all safety guidelines and instructions

Avoid disruptive or inappropriate behavior

Refrain from bringing prohibited items or substances to lessons or events

8. Intellectual Property
All content including curriculum, recordings, logos, and promotional media are the intellectual property of Rock School NW. Reuse or reproduction without written consent is prohibited.

9. Risk & Liability
Participation in music lessons and live performances involves certain risks. By enrolling, you accept full responsibility for any risk or injury. Rock School NW is not liable for injuries or losses incurred on our premises or at off-site events, except as required by law.

10. Program Changes
We reserve the right to update services, schedules, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Continued participation after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.

11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate services if these Terms are violated or if a student’s behavior disrupts the learning environment.

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes will be handled in Spokane County court.
