DRUM LAB

Rock School NW offers group drum lessons in Liberty Lake to beginners ages 8-12 and teenagers! You can learn how to play drums, make friends and prepare to perform songs and make your rock star dreams come true!

These classes consist of small groups of up to six students who might all at different levels of playing. It is taught in a lab-style, where they each will be practicing their core content on an individual basis, but within the group. The instructor will work with each student individually to make sure they are making good progress!

We are also about so much more than just the 30 minute weekly lessons. We partner with a variety of different venues and events throughout the year to give students performance opportunities as well! We even have an awesome rewards system for students to earn punches for prizes, merch, etc!

LEARN HOW TO ROCK

Your drums tutor will take special time and care with beginner drum lessons, and focus on the rudimentary skills needed to help you learn to be a quality drummer down the road. These drum lessons will focus on the following:

● How to learn drum beats
● How to use drum fills
● How to understand the basics of drum notation
● Concentration on the snare drum and cymbal
● Learn how to play your favorite songs
● Understanding how to protect your hearing

When you learn from a qualified drums teacher, you will learn the drums the correct way, and will not have to correct mistakes or deficiencies in your form down the road. A strong drumming foundation will also help you get your own percussion style to gain musical independence.
